SOME GRID GENERATION ALGORITHMS FOR UNSTRUCTURED POLYGONAL GRIDS IN THE "TIM-2D" CODE

Some grid generation algorithms for unstructured polygonal preprocessing grids for the TIM-2D code are presented. The format of grid topology data storage is identified. The method of cell cutoff by domain boundaries and the grid cross-linking method to integrate different types of grids within the same domain are described. Practical recommendations are given for the use of some or other types of grids depending on problem features.
