      A model of laser radiation absorption and energy output of “hot” electrons in spherical plasma has been formulated and implemented in the SND gas dynamic code. The model accounts for the density profile steepening processes under the effect of a ponderomotive force, plasma heating by “hot” electrons, and the absorbed energy losses to accelerate “fast” ions.
