      The paper describes the POLET program system for the simulation of electrical circuits in automatic equipment. The specific features of the input language and algorithms used in the program system are described, which represent the specifics of components and nature of transient processes in the automatic equipment circuits. Prospects for the further development of the POLET program system are outlined.
