TURBULENT LOW IN RECTILINEAR TUBE WITH ROUND CROSS-SECTION. CONSTRUCTING SOLUTION ON THE BASIS OF SEMI-EM-PIRICAL MODELS

The paper studies hydrodynamic. Equations, describing flow gas in rectilinear tube with round cross-section. The paper also describes the process of constructing solution, based on semi-empirical equations. The so-called lV- and -turbulence models have been considered.
The problem under review has long been studied. Several analytical solutions are available. Satisfactory description of the experimental results with the help of elementary algebraic models, although elementary algebraic models are known to provide quite satisfactory description of experimental results, the question arises, how the same experiments would be described with regard to lV- and -models.
A theoretical and numerical study of the lV- and -equations has been made in the paper. Some programs for numerical solution of the problem in the language C ver. 6.0. were developed.
The results derived from the paper may be used when testing complex program systems on this subject.
