The paper deals with algorithms and methods of processing data, specified on unstructured multidimensional grids of large size, on multiprocessor systems. Some algorithms are discussed for pyramidal grids refinement, rational partition of unstructured grids, compression of triangulated surfaces and 3-D data visualization in distributed systems.
