Thermonuclear burn of cylindrical targets in a powerful relativistic heavy-ion driver system is examined. Energy contribution to the target for DT-fuel comes to ≥ 100 MJ under ion energy ~ 1000 GeV. Burn estimations for perspective sorts of fuel are made.
