Described here is the system of design-theoretical estimations of the propagation of the thermonuclear combustion wave in deuterium target for the power relativistic heavy-ion driver. The new physico- mathematical model (MDMT-N) accounts for the primary effects connected with neutron processes in hybrid target. The possibility of the thermonuclear combustion wave in deuterium fuel of the cylindrical target at ρR ~ 3 g/cm2 is shown. Described here is the new control scheme for the ions of relativistic driver which allows the ignition of the priming DT pellet.
