At present, high-performance computation systems are beginning to play more prominent part in production process of high-technology enterprises of key industries in Russia. Heavy expenses connected with complex engineering services, high energy consumption and renting and maintenance of a large air-conditioned room are one of the main constraining factors on their application. The article is concerned with the general-purpose compact super-computer with teraflops performance (one billion of double-precise floating-point operations per second). This super-computer is positioned like an ordinary tool of designer, process engineer or researcher for high-performance computations. This super computer is comparable to 40 new personal computers in performance despite the small size. Keywords: compact super-computer, high-performance computations, air-fluid cooling system, software-hardware monitoring of hardware and software components, switchless environment of interprocessor exchange.
