ON THE DIFFERENCE SOLUTION CONVERGENCE OF TURBULENT MIXING EQUATIONS WHEN MIXING ZONE INTERACTS WITH SHOCK WAVE

VANT. Ser.: Mat. Mod. Fiz. Proc 2012. Вып.2. С. 16-24.

The new approach for converging difference solution of turbulent mixing equations when shock wave interacts with mixing zone, is suggested. Converging solution algorithm is implemented in the framework of V. V. Nikiforov model using VIKhR and ARKTUR methods, meant for 1D flow simulation accounting for turbulent mixing. Simulation results of Poggi experiment (1998) using sequence of refining grids are given to verify the efficiency of new approach; the simulation method is set.

Keywords: shock wave interaction with mixing zone, solution convergence, Poggi experiment simulation.
