ON LIQUID CONTRACTION OF A GRID CELL IN THE VOF METHOD

This paper considers the problem of liquid contraction of a polyhedral grid cell with nonplanar faces at the geometrical reconstruction in the VOF method for numerical solving problems with free surfaces. The paper gives the description of the constructive approach: the form of the working function is determined, its construction is presented. The authors offer the corresponding algorithm of the liquid contraction determination at the free surface piecewise-planar reconstruction.
