Vant. Ser. Metodiki i Programmy Chislennogo Resheniya Zadach Matematicheskoy Fiziki 1983. Вып.2. С. 34-37.

A physical model implemented within a standard DIANA version designed to solve laser fusion problems is described. The paper presents equations of state (including cold pressure and ionization), ion-electron energy transfer rates, and heat conductivities (in terms of degeneration), the calculation of the brems- strahlung and that of laser and fusion reaction light absorption. This program is a part of the SAFRA application package functional facilities and is developed for common use.

The DIANA program is described which was designed to solve 1-D gas dynamics eguations with heat conduction in Lagrangian coordinates in terms of different physical effects for plane, cylinder, and spherical geometry. The program is oriented to laser fusion problems. This is a part of the SAFRA application package facilities. The program is written in FORTRAN based on the OLYMPUS system and is intented to a variety of users.
