MAGNETIC THERMAL INSULATION IN HIF TARGETS

      The efficiency of the magnetic thermal insulation is considered for HIF (Heavy Ion Fusion) targets. The brief description of the program system used to perform these estimations is included. The specific power J_m may be lowered to the level J_m ~ 1000 TW/g by magnetic thermal insulation effects during the target compression with the initial magnetic field B_0z ~ 10⁵ Gs.
