BAL PROGRAM FOR SOLVING GAS DYNAMICS PROBLEMS IN THE 1-D COMPLEX

The paper describes a BAL modules "bundle", which is an operational program designed to solve gas dynamics problems within the 1-D Complex. The BAL program implements a nonhomogeneous difference method. An emphasis is made on the evaluation of a detonation wave, shock waves, propagating through unperturbed material, along with free and contact boundaries. To calculate the detonation wave and the flow behind it Kuropatenko scheme is used. For region between outlined features, if not explosives, Godunov scheme is applied. The program capabilities are illustrated by solving five test problems.
