ON MONOTONICITY OF AN IMPLICIT DIFFERENCE SCHEME

      The paper examines the calculation of a supersonic flow field near bodies with negative and positive curvatures of the generating line. The computational algorithm is based on an implicit difference scheme proposed by Babenko and Voskresensky. Conditions are obtained to make the solution monotonous in the region of centered rarefaction wave. Computational results are given.
