GEOMETRIC PROBLEMS OF SIMULATING PARTICLE TRAJECTORIES IN THE C007 CODE

The paper describes the principles of setting geometric objects in the C007 code for solving linear transport problems with the Monte Carlo method. The way of constructing the problem geometry is described and the geometric block types are given. The derivation of formulas to calculate the distance to a surface is shown by the example of an axially symmetric block. Special attention is paid to the calculation of the distance to torus.
